Photographer? Artist? Even! About that...

I enjoy creating images. It’s fun.

Photography gives me the ability to look at the world more carefully, to pause and truly see. Through the lens, I capture moments that I can revisit time and again—moments that allow me to relive, reflect, and remember.

What I photograph is often guided by a stream of curiosity. While natural scenes frequently inspire me, I resist labels like “landscape”, “foamer”, or “nature photographer.” My work is less about exploring the interest impulse, trying to get to the bottom of that initial moment of attention.

Underlying all my work is a perpetual inquiry: a desire to uncover deeper meaning in the world around us. What lies beneath the surface of what we see every day? What stories do our surroundings tell when we take the time to listen? Photography, for me, is more than capturing a scene—it’s a way to question, to connect, and to understand.

Ultimately, I enjoy creating images because it’s fun. But it’s also a journey of discovery, both of the world and of myself.
